Strict Hygiene Precautions are in place:

The Gut Centre has implemented strict hygiene practices including ensuring patients and psychologists use hand sanitiser upon entry and exit of our reception and waiting rooms, along with sanitising the hypnotherapy chair and other commonly used surfaces between each session.

All patients and staff are to abide by strict social distancing requirements of 1.5m and our waiting area has been reconfigured accordingly. All of our Psychologists have completed the Australian Government e learning course on Infection Control Training -COVID 19.

Telehealth Consultations:

Telehealth sessions (video teleconference) are available to all patients and can be claimable through medicare. Please consult with your GP to assess your eligibility for a Mental Health Care Plan. Private Health rebates may also apply, many funds are now providing rebates for Telehealth consultations.

We are aware that this is a very stressful time for many people. We are committed to continuing to support all our patients through this period. Please note: Hypnotherapy conducted via Teleconference is proven to be an effective treatment for patients suffering with irritable bowel syndrome, as indicated by a new study.
